Day 1

 

If you thought Harry Potter was the only one with an Invisibility Cloak, you’ve got another thing coming!  And for Sci-Fi fans, if you thought The Invisible Man was just an HG Wells character, Quark ’13 will make you see otherwise!

Dr. Chris Philips, better known as the Invisible Man, is a professor at the prestigious Imperial College, London where he is theHead of the Optoelectronics section. He is best known groundbreaking research work in Quantum Optical effects in Nanostructures. Besides Physics, Dr Philips also has a talent for showmanship; donning a cloak that rendered a part of him completely invisible in front of a projector by way of demonstrating his research work to an audience.  Watch and be amazed as one the greatest scientific spectacles performs the world’s greatest magic trick!

 

 

 

Day 2

 
India’s first design and content conference, Mark My Word an on-campus initiative is also being held under the quark ’13 banner.The impressive speaker line-up  includes cartoonist and activist Aseem Trivedi, AksharPathak of Minimal Bollywood posters fame), India's fashion queen, Ritu Beri and National Award winning director Quashik Mukherjee. The conference with also feature filler performances by the likes of well-known comedian Sorabh Pant. A one of a kind conference, Mark My Word is expected to set news trends in the Indian conference scene.
 
 
 
 
Day 3
 
 
This Quark, lose yourself in the mesmerizing voice of acclaimed Bollywood composer and singer- Ganjendra Verma. The man behind the catchy refrain of ‘Mann Mera’ from his debut Bollywood venture Table Number 21 and new-age heartbreak anthem ‘Emptiness’ will perform live at the Quark outdoor stage this February. This is one concert music fans simply cannot afford to miss!
