Reward and Certification Policy

1. The decision of the Judging Authority shall be final and binding on all participants. 
2. Every event will have two prizes. The individual/team in the first position will be the Winner(s) and in the second position will be the Runner-Up(s). Each individual or team member of the teams standing in first and second position will be awarded Certificate of Excellence. The main reward for first and second position will be handed over to the individual/team leader only.
3. Decision for the award of the individual/ team standing in Third Position lies at the discretion of QUARK Organizing Committee.
4. Every individual/team qualifying for the final/last round of the event (except Paper PPT.) will be awarded a Certificate of Merit. An individual/team qualifying for the final/last round in two or more events shall be awarded the Certificate of Merit for each of the event.
5. Individuals/teams who participate in an event but do not qualify for the last round will receive a Certificate of Participation. In case, an individual/team participates in two or more events and does not qualify for the final round in any of the events, he/she/they will be awarded only one Certificate of Participation.
6. In case an individual/team qualifies for the final/last round of an event(s) and does not qualify for the final/last round for another event(s), he/she/they will be awarded a Certificate(s) of Merit and a Certificate of Participation respectively. 
7. In case of the event, Paper Presentation (Paper PPT.); all individual/team presenting a paper during QUARK ‘08 will be awarded a Certificate of Participation.
8. On attending and successful completion of Workshops all individual/team will be given a certificate bearing the signature of the essential authority.
