Bookmark and Share

The workshop will be conducted by MetaWing Technologies. MetaWing technologies, being a technology driven company, in addition to providing turnkey custom solutions are in close collaboration with some international organizations to launch advanced modules worldwide and look for other lucrative options so as to contribute to the economic, social and cultural development of the society. The students will learn the basics concepts and will gain the practical experience while unfolding every part of the engine.

This workshop is designed to provide an insight view in the field of automotive and engine design to the students. All the concepts will be explained in detail with the Help of Theory and with Specially Designed Animations which would help the students to visualize things before actually practically working on it. There will be 16 hours of certified practical training accompanied with industrial projects to give a glimpse of different areas in the Automotive and Engine Design.

The workshop will include an introduction to automotive engine design, history of research projects undertaken in the subject, upcoming projects and the Future of Automotive engineering. Types of locomotive vehicles (two wheel, four wheel, flying vehicles etc), chassis design, all mechanical concepts associated with the designing of Suspension unit and braking system in Car and Motor bikes.

The workshop will also include Design using software - AUTOCAD AND CATIA (90 minutes session) Students will also be informed about the types of Transmission System, Electronics and Electrical system, the designing and working of engine with the mathematics and thermodynamics involved with it. Latest developments and future of automotive in the field of automotive. Finally there will be an Interactive session to clarify all the queries of students.
