Introduction

The ultimate robotic tussle! Inspired from the sumo wresting of Japan for entertaining the Shinto Gods. Will your rikishi (bot) be able to become the Yokosuna (winner) of the dohyo (arena)? Will you rikishi (bot) be able to entertain the Shinto Gods (crowd) and the goyji (referee)? An event where only the meanest, fiercest and the most shrewd bot lasts!!!Does your bot have the might and tact to outdo its opponent in the ring? Does your bot have the ability to become The King of the Ring? If yes, then prove in the arena......

Problem Statement

The challenge is to build a manually controlled wireless or wired bot which can drive out the opponent’s bot out of the ring .The bot can drag, push or throw the opponent’s bot out of the ring.

  • 230v AC Power supply will be provided. The participating teams should bring adaptors/eliminators of the required voltage rating.
  • THe abstracts should be mailed to mail id's given below. The design of the weapons used should be clearly explained.
  • All the participating teams are requested to be at the venue on time. Date and time will be put up on the site.
  • The organizers have the right to change the rules as they deem fit. Change in rules, if any, will be highlighted on the website and notified to the registered participants.

  • The controlling wires should be bound into a single strip and long enough, it should not entangle with the opponent's wires. The length of the wire from the bot to the controlling unit (switch board) should be more than 4m.The wire should remain slack throughout the competition.
